Dominique Sieglaff, E-RYT & YACEP
After working in the field of civil engineering for 15 years, Dominique decided to change careers after her son was born to pursue something close to her heart; the philosophy and practice of yoga and meditation. She has been a yoga practitioner since 2003, and a meditation practitioner since 1996. Dominique completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program at the Inland College of Yoga in Riverside, California in 2007 under the guidance of master yoga teacher Scott Miller, (now Director of the Western Yoga College). She has been teaching at yoga studios and wellness centers ever since.
Dominique is a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher and registered as an E-RYT 200 and YACEP with the Yoga Alliance, (an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider with 5,700 hours of teaching experience). She is also CPR/AED, Basic First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen certified.
Over the years, Dominique has striven to grow and evolve as a yoga teacher by taking over 400 hours of additional advanced yoga teacher training in the history, philosophy, and techniques of yoga and meditation. She has studied Kundalini Yoga at the 3HO center Guru Ram Das Puri in New Mexico, and has studied the teachings of Ram Dass at the Institute for Spirituality and Health in Texas with Lex Gillan and Ram Dass. Dominique has also taken continuing education courses in Yin Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Yoga and Mindfulness Practice, and the Science of Buddhist Meditation at Kripalu in Massachusetts, and The Omega Institute and The Garrison Institute in New York. Her studies have brought her into the presence of world-renowned teachers such as Jack Kornfield, Krishna Das, Eckhart Tolle, and H.H. the Dalai Lama.
Dominique’s focus is on providing her students with a truly holistic experience through her yoga classes; working with the body, mind, and spirit to help each person achieve a complete sense of well-being.
